Have you ever found yourself doing mundane tasks and questioning yourself as to what the purpose of life is?
Have you ever found yourself doing mundane tasks and questioning yourself as to what the purpose of life is?
It may seem unusual for me to go from talking about doing the dishes to that but bare with me please.
A great philosopher once said if you're finding life too hard then try enjoying it more. Easier said than done when you're knee high in problems right? Or is it? Everything is an opportunity, an opportunity to learn, to grow, to experience and ultimately to live. This is what living is. It is being given the chance.
Of course we all have days when we find it difficult to relish these opportunities, but do you ever stop and think, if God exists, now I am not really a religious man nor is our family so I'm not going to start bleating about religion, however, if God does exist-Why would he give us such mundane and at times very difficult situations that we find so hard? I can only imagine that if God does exist, and having made us in his vein, his job must be very hard. Imagine having the power and ultimately the choice to create life in a world that you've created that has so many problems. I'm a statatition, a global economist, I studied art and social science. I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to benefit from all of the lessons I've had in my life, although at times they have been very tough. I don't think with my collective knowledge and experience I could come close to having the ability to be able to shoulder those responsibilities.
We can't just not exist though. So there's a choice. It's a difficult one but one we all DO have to make. We all have the ability to make these very decisions everyday. We ALL harbor some of that responsibility.

We have to play our part. It may not always be fun and may not always seem fair but I promise it is. You just have to see the bigger picture.
